X1a
The X1a does not require a separate software module. It uses the given SPI module and would respond to standard SPI rack commands, as described in the SPI software page. When using SPI write_data, read_data commands, different addresses take different meanings:
4 SPI buses - these are accessed by addressing chips 0 through 3 on the write_data, read_data commands.
8 input lines to the module - these are accessed by addressing chip 5 on the write_data command.
8 output lines from the module - these are accessed by addressing chips 4, 6, or 7 on the read_data command.
Note that these functions and addresses are specific to the X1a implementation. They may not work with other SPI modules.
