This module provides a fibre-coupled isolation stage for signals up to 200MHz to send analog or pulse signals up to 2V in 50ohm. Output signals are send via a fibre (5 meter) to an analog line/battery powered receiver module. Gain= 1V/V for maximum bandwidth, a seperate preamp (close to the setup) should be used.
Although the link is dc-coupled to have a flat pulse response for long pulses, the dc-specs are of a lower quality compared to the lf isoamps (S0/M0) typical a few mV of offset can be expected.
The receiver unit can be set for accurate low/high level limitvalues (1nS response). Use of these (dac/voltage/potmeter) variable levels can create logic levels for an event counter or trigger.
